GLASS SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND AUCTION.
Peggy's piece was juried into this prestigous
event held in Seattle Washington. Work from many of the world's top
glass masters were also featured in this event: Dale Chihuly, Lino
Taglopietra, Dante' Marioni, Michael Fox, William Morris, Randy
Walker, Shane Fero, to name a few. Peggy also
participated in the Pilchuck Artist Forum, held at the spectacular
Chihuly Boathouse (the studio).

SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. Peggy's piece
"Windtalker" has been juried into the Glass Art Society LIVE
auction. The auction is taking place at the GAS International
Conference in mid June in St Louis. See her piece online now

This is a very important and incredible honor for her. Jurors picked glass art pieces from members spanning 55
countries. Selected pieces were included in the silent auction to be
held at the conference. From that select group, a few pieces were
juried into the LIVE AUCTION, a great
honor.

Peggy has been accepted into the summer
program at Pilchuck Glass School in Washington.
For those who don't know about Pilchuck, we
refer to it as the "Julliard" of glass education. This
international glass institute was founded by Dale Chihuly (and a
group of other wonderful artists). It is an exciting opportunity
for her.

Peggy will be spending several weeks in
Barcelona Spain, working with Rene Culler and
Philippa Beveridge. She will be studying "Modernism: A celebration
of Glass in Barcelona Spain". She will be studying and working in
the classroom known as Barcelona. Rene has taught at Pilchuck,
Corning, and many other top glass facilities. In addition to being
an internationally acclaimed and talented artist. Philippa
Beveridge is located in Barcelona, and has written several books
about warm glass. She has taught and worked around the globe, and
has a vast knowledge of glass art, history and techniques /
processes.

Travelling with Peggy to Barcelona will be two
exceptional artists, Paula Cooperrider and Wanda Beard.
Paula Cooperrider is an incredible wood artist (featured on HGTV's
Modern Master Series).
